Here are some pros and cons: Pros: Good sound for the price, comparable to the Logitech Z313. So small that it doesn't take up much space on your desk. Can be very loud and easily fills an average room with music. You can use both separate speakers and a soundbar (this is the GS550 model). The volume control is easily accessible and has a smooth feel. Cons: The cable connecting the second speaker is a bit short to accommodate a speaker on each side for a dual monitor setup. This problem could be solved if the wire connecting them were detachable. The user can choose how long the cable should be to accommodate the speakers no matter how far or close they are. The red LED does not go out even if the computer is switched off. This can be easily fixed by disabling ports on the computer when it is powered off. Overall these speakers are great for their budget. Have great sound and volume. The two modes are also useful because you can choose how you want to use them.
