A very useful tool for aquarists. Easy connection to my kitchen sink. I tried this on my 10 gallon tank to test it out. It works great but I wouldn't recommend it for smaller aquariums. It sucked water out at a very high rate, even after adjusting the flow. I don't know what the best minimum tank size is, but I bought it primarily for use in my new 55 gallon tank and flow is not an issue. The only thing is, of course, it takes longer with larger tanks, so be careful with your water bills. In the future I am thinking about buying a system with an electric pump to save water.
