So that the animal can be easily taken on and off the transporter.

I have a Bebe parrot that could gnaw off its last carrier. This car was made of a different material. The only issue I have is that there is a small hole in the back - I assume it is for putting a bowl of water in, which is what I did. The hole was big enough for my bird to stick its head out and I didn't know if it could get out. In addition, it is made of the best material and equipped with a removable tray on the bottom.
