Great but. in Linen

We have this pad to put on our bed when we are not at home because our cat has been an idiot sometimes. It fits great and slips easily over regular sheets and/or blankets, but has two different cuts on the liner. There were no cuts, tears or damage to the packaging it came in. It kind of defeats the purpose, but I also don't want to mess with returns, let alone the judgmental looks I get. So I just taped it and hope it works.
