I got this set of Tombow Brush Pens four years ago after trying them out at an art retreat. I really liked them and use them often in my shop. (Animal portraits and illustrations.) I made some great drawings with Tombows, while I was able to develop more depth and fusion with the pencils. I almost exclusively use brush tips. Some of them are now starting to age a bit after long use. I have two that have also started to dry out. A friend told me a great way to rehydrate so I'll give it a try before doing a full swap. (She says put some water in the lid and set it aside to soak for a few days. I'll see if it works!) The ONLY negative experience I've had with Tombows is, that they quickly chew cheap paper. / is always a good paper, especially when there are many layers in the graphic. The water base will do this, so keep that in mind. I've also found that the brush tips blend just as well or better than using a clear blender; It has its uses, but it doesn't have to. The bottom line is, if this is indeed a Tombow product, you can't go wrong. Always check the reliability of the seller before placing an order.
