I needed a subwoofer replacement cable because the subwoofer was making an annoying humming noise. The old cable was M*NSTR and 10-15 years old. In some other reviews of this particular cable, people kept talking about how difficult it was to connect to their receiver or to the subwoofer itself. Well, I didn't have those problems. Mediabridge is real! it arrived well packaged; I took it out of the box and it made a light and firm connection between the receiver and subwoofer and indeed the hum was gone. I had purchased several Mediabridge 3.5mm stereo jacks in the past and was impressed with the weight and strength of the cables and the fit and finish of the connectors, so it was a no-brainer for me. I believe in Mediabridge products! They work!
