I made a splint out of this for a broken finger. I simply slipped a cotton glove over my hand, slipped a sleeve over my broken finger and used a heat gun to shrink it down to the right size and shape. Glue the sleeve to the glove. Then I cut off the glove wrap and got a perfectly formed removable guard.
