My family has several standard vacuums and two robot vacuums of well known brands - one early model and the other is similar to this one in that it has a self-cleaning bin. I have to say that this vacuum robot can definitely keep up with the more expensive brands. And in many ways I like it better! Here's what I like: - Setting up the app was very easy! We have a large open floor plan with an entry hall, kitchen, dining area, breakfast book and office. The vacuum goes around the perimeter and then sucks each of the spaces back and forth, which really makes sense. My other robot hoover always seems to go insane and never seems to have a strategy. This one is also much faster than the others, cleaning my floor in half the time. It does its job well and has good suction power. It cleans everything with no problems. It seems to be a lot quieter than other robot vacuums I'm used to. I usually can't even be in the same room when the vacuum is running, but this one doesn't bother me too much. The vacuum cleaner copes with small carpets/rugs without any problems. My other robot vacuums had serious problems with it, making horrible noises. This vacuum cleaner can handle my kitchen carpet without any problems. Setting up restricted zones and a recurring cleaning schedule is easy. We don't like having a vacuum cleaner in my office because it's surrounded by a shaggy carpet and a bunch of stuff. My office is part of our open plan office and doesn't have doors, but it was easy to draw lines to show this vacuum where not to go and stay outside. We set the vacuum cleaner to clean at the same time every morning before we get up. It's nice to wake up in the morning with a clean floor! The wipe function is useful and particularly good in this price range. I definitely still need to mop my floors for deep cleaning (I steam them), but the mopping function on this vacuum is great for in-between cleanings and gives my floors that little extra shine that a vacuum alone can't achieve. It's easy to clean and again, at this price point, it's an excellent feature. What I don't like (not much, to be honest!): - The user manual leaves a lot to be desired. There's hardly any mention of the mopping function, and it took us a while to figure out how to set it up - it's actually quite simple, as all you have to do is take out the vacuum insert, fill it with water and put on the mopping pad. . As soon as it is inserted, the vacuum cleaner recognizes that it is in wiping mode. But it is very strange that the manual does not mention this. We had an issue where at one point we couldn't get the mop to work. The app and voice activation said the vacuum was in mopping mode, but no water actually came out no matter what we did. We ended up having to restart the vacuum cleaner and when we put it back up it worked again. Just hope this doesn't happen again as it was a little frustrating to reset, redraw cards etc. Overall I highly recommend this vacuum - after using it for about a month I really don't see the point in buying a more expensive one One like this is just as good if not better than the much more expensive ones I've used!
