Review on Acurel LLC (3-Pack) Nitrate Reducing Media Pad - Aquarium and Pond Filter Accessory, 10x18 Inches by Charles Stennis

I bought this product a while ago and use it all the time but the results are disappointing. It's a great filter, but my nitrate levels stay at 10ppm, period. I do weekly water changes, 20% and vacuum the gravel once a month. I change the Acurel filter weekly. Looking at the bottom of the tank, the gravel is perfectly clean. I also use Seachem Pristine. I have no phosphates and am reading 0.0 to 0.25ppm. I keep 13 small fish in 29 gallons. Tank. Needless to say I am disappointed.
