This thing just works like a champ. It's a bit large - I don't think you'll need it in a backpack, but for camping where you're taking a car, or at home if you just need something that works without electricity, this works fine. . Among the attachments was one that fits and stays in place until you pull it out, my old Coleman single air mattress. Fills it up very quickly using the pump setting for both strokes. Even in single-stroke mode it fills up pretty quickly because the airbox is pretty big, but a two-stroke is a lot faster and not much harsher. Bought it for a few bucks from Revain's Warehouse Deals marked 'USED' as the box it came in was mangled. Why am I interested in the box? Such a deal. Update 7-3-16: I still love this pump. I had to buy a new air mattress, this time very high, twice the size. 200 strokes were required to set up the double pump. This might sound like a lot and I think it is, but I love that it can be inflated without electricity and I just wanted to see how long/how many strokes it takes. While I hate the sound of electric pumps, next time I'll probably use one for the initial fill and finish with this hand pump as it will definitely give you a much tighter fill. Electric ones, mine at least, will start complaining of resistance when the item is almost full, leaving you with a soft mattress. A couple of AirHead presses will get rid of all that mush. I would buy this item again in a heartbeat.
