Double or Single Action Pump

Most reviews say it's a double or double acting pump, or the pump pumps air in both rebound and compression directions, well that's true, but you have the ability to force its pumping air in just the direction of the squeeze or both, which I really liked. The construction looks solid enough. I use this pump to add pressure to my inflatable kayak having already inflated it with an electric pump and it does the job very well.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Great pump for kiting!

Works great as a kitesurf pump. The only difference between this and a much more expensive branded kiting pump is the slightly smaller footboard and the lack of a kite "line" (although it was easy to drill a hole in the footrest and attach a rope and small plastic hook) . . This pump is better than my signature pump because you can switch from dual-action (faster but harder to pump) to single-action (slower but easier on your back) with a twist of a dial.

  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Fast inflation pump ideal for replacing electric pumps

We made this as a backup option for our electric pumps that we normally use to inflate our rafts. We sail on large rafts, around 15 feet in diameter, that inflate in 15-20 minutes. The day our electric pump motor failed we had to manually inflate the other half of the raft with that pump. This worked great and only added 5 minutes to the total inflation time. Anyone could use it easily, it didn't require much strength to climb up. Great main pump or backup!

Disappointed: Inflators and Accessories

I bought this to inflate my paddleboard faster but the paddleboard nozzle doesn't even fit my board's valve. The pump looks a bit cheap but would be a good option if you just need to inflate beach balls, inflatable pools etc and don't want to spend a lot. I'm just frustrated that I can't use it for the intended purpose, although the addition made me think I could. Maybe different manufacturers have different size SUP board mounts? I'm not sure

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Upgradeable

I got this pump because a friend sent me a picture of his pump and it looked the same with a different label. I think I paid half of what he did (he got his in Rey). I like this pump because it works fast with the double-ended pump spout and easy to inflate with the single-ended pump. Very light as it is made entirely of plastic. It can be seen that this is a durable plastic, I hope it never cracks or breaks. It comes with multiple attachments but I only use one.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Older model

Inexpensive and effective

What a great small and light pump! We bought it to inflate our kayaks and it does the job in just 5 minutes per boat (ie with 7 different valves on the kayak to connect). Oooh easy! Its size and weight are so minimal that we can stow it in a carry bag with one of our kayaks and then, when inflated, throw it behind the seat of one of them to have it handy if we ever get air while walking have to breathe . On the water during the day. The Valve Nozzle range is perfect for those looking to use the

Inflates (and deflates) faster than any other pump we've tried

We use this pump on all the inflatables on our boat and around our pool. It is excellent. It inflates faster than any pump we've tried, whether manual or electric. Inflating our 70 inch inner tube (another great Airhead product) is particularly impressive. Sure, it takes a bit of energy to inflate this beast with a dual-action pump, but compared to anything we've tried, this pump takes half the energy. time (and you'll get a good upper body workout in the process). It comes with multiple easy…

Works like a champ for inflators and accessories

This thing just works like a champ. It's a bit large - I don't think you'll need it in a backpack, but for camping where you're taking a car, or at home if you just need something that works without electricity, this works fine. . Among the attachments was one that fits and stays in place until you pull it out, my old Coleman single air mattress. Fills it up very quickly using the pump setting for both strokes. Even in single-stroke mode it fills up pretty quickly because the airbox is pretty…
