These are the best waterbrushes. The small button on the side offers better moisture control than other brands. I also love that this set comes with a marker option. The bristles on both brushes are synthetic, but they have really decent resiliency and sharpness. I have found that water brushes are generally a better choice for working with colored water soluble pencils and water soluble graphite than other brushes as they are strong enough to manipulate the pigment in such materials. The filling system is a bit simpler than other brushes. I experimented with using water brushes with diluted Dr. PH Martin for quick sketches. They are good for that too.
