Review on πŸ”Š Sony ICF-CD863V Clock Radio - AM/FM/TV/Weather, CD Player (Discontinued) by Frank Dubey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use but maybe not very comfortable for sleeping

This is an ambitious clock radio. He just can't make coffee. Wake up to the radio. Wake up with buzzer. Wake up with a CD. Wake up gently. Wake up abruptly. let you sleep let you sleep listen to AM. listen to FM. Listen to TV (for now - TV signals will stop when TV goes fully digital). Listen to the weather. With digital tuning and improved bass. And much more. The price you pay for all of these options is that the buttons are plentiful and tiny. Well, I can't understand how Sony could avoid this problem and still leave a small footprint. That's why I say, if you need features, be prepared to do whatever it takes to use them. I see that people who are foggy in the morning may struggle to get the most out of each control. In my case we have a radio in the bathroom which is just great. But I don't often sleep in the bath.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Big and bulky
