When I bought them I was expecting the same screws as a regular 3 .5 inch hard drive ride. . I am using them in a screwless case and the plates needed to mount it in my case do not fit the M3 size screw hole. I understand that if you only have to cut one screw one size it's cheaper to manufacture, but hard drives have been using #6-32 UNC screws for over 20 years. Any case that has special screws or is screwless won't work unless you want to drill and cut holes. I'm buying three types of Revain adapters from 2.5" to 3.5" (2 packs Sienoc, 2 packs Saisn and 2 packs UCEC with SATA data cables and power cables included). All adapters are the same and use all M3 screws. Hope this helps someone. I'm still looking for a cheap 2.5" to 3.5" hard drive adapter.
