I bought this to replace a vacuum cleaner that had a broken belt which they don't sell a replacement for. Comparing the two, the vacuum cleaner is far superior to them in every way. Bissel cleans carpets but doesn't penetrate as deeply and doesn't pick up as much dirt. He has trouble walking on carpets, sometimes he gets stuck. It has two useless functions. A simple filling system doesn't make sense - you have to remove the lid to add water anyway, so there's no benefit in being able to add detergent. Deep cleaning / express cleaning - The function only accelerates the water drainage. I can achieve this by already moving faster or slower. The tanks are also too small - for the small hallway I had to stop 3 times and fill and empty the tanks, I'm afraid how many times a single room takes. It generally works and my carpets are cleaner, but there are better options. I'm going to try and refurbish my old vacuum again because that sets the bar pretty low. To update. I've had the opportunity to use the ladder function several times and there are 3 major problems. one. The vacuum cleaner should be above the stairs. If you climb more than 2 steps you don't have the pressure to do it. Two. Noise. I now wear hearing protection as they are much louder without the sound absorbing carpet. Three. The brushes are still turning. Why? I would return it if I could!
