WARNING: My unit (3000W version) is Neutral and Live/Hot in the two NEMA outlets on the back! I only caught this because I electrocuted myself on the PC case I connected to the inverter. It also illuminated the FAULT light on one of my power strips. This is a very dangerous and stupid error - be sure to check your device. This is easy to fix: remove the case and swap neutral and hot. As soon as I did that, the FAULT indicator disappeared and there was no more AC shock. Another problem I found: I looked at the battery voltage with an oscilloscope and found that the device produces a very high 11 volt AC peak noise for the battery, which itself is 12-14.6 volts when it inverts and when it is loaded. This worries me - I think over time it can easily damage my lithium iron phosphate batteries which don't want to see anything above 14.6 volts max. I tried putting a 10 millifarad capacitor across the battery positive/negative to absorb this AC noise, but that had no effect.
