WHY? Plastic lids no longer fit? Those plastic covers that cover all the nuts and bolts are supposed to protect the driver from shocks in a crash? It took more than 1 hour to adjust and put on snugly. I had to remove the clutch and brake levers to install it. Like many others I said the same thing, you get a blurry, wavy view through the shield, with 55+mph offshore super strong winds you still have a bit of wind to contend with. BUT it helped a little. No matter how tight you screw the windshield on, it shakes at a higher speed of over 65 mph tested in 1 week of freeway driving.
