Looks great and is easy to assemble

Looks great and is easy to assemble, wish the screws were a bit longer but don't let that put you off. Fits very well on my 2016 Zero DSR. Looks factory. 30 minutes to install it yourself.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

Great for my 300F

Great windshield for my Honda CB300F. This made a big difference as the 300f comes without a windscreen. Excellent buffering made highway driving much more enjoyable and less tiring. seems the perfect size for a 300f would recommend to anyone looking for a new windshield.

High quality for small bike

Easy to install I have a CB300F bike shown in the photo. This is a quality product. The hardware is very strong. Installation required a 3mm allen key and a small Phillips wrench. Good wind protection and extra stability. Very happy with this shield.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Has some imperfections

Poor Design: Windshields and Accessories

After less than 5,000 miles, the glass started to crack. I spoke to the seller Chaparral and they said there has been nothing they can do for over a year and they can call Pug direct. I called Puig and they took no responsibility for it happening and probably caused by harsh cleaning products. I only use Plexus and Meguiars to clean my bike. I think it was just poorly designed. I bought the screen to extend the life of the bike, not a year and a half. I think Puig will provide better customer…

I wanted darkness, but.

This windshield is perfect. It doesn't match the CTX700 as well as you might think, but it's still better than any other windshield. It takes a little finesse to get it right. However, it's not a flimsy plastic wrap to last a season, it has properly rounded edges and thicker plastic. Even at 90 mph (yes, tested) there is no wobble or wobble and no flex. I'm not afraid of this windshield coming off. On the CTC700, the buffeting gets bad at 70+ and this reduces it significantly, by an estimated…

Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The 2015 CB300F isn't as straightforward and not as versatile.

WHY? Plastic lids no longer fit? Those plastic covers that cover all the nuts and bolts are supposed to protect the driver from shocks in a crash? It took more than 1 hour to adjust and put on snugly. I had to remove the clutch and brake levers to install it. Like many others I said the same thing, you get a blurry, wavy view through the shield, with 55+mph offshore super strong winds you still have a bit of wind to contend with. BUT it helped a little. No matter how tight you screw the…

I picked it up for my Kawasaki Z650

Very well designed product. The attachment mechanism is impressive, but perhaps not universal. It would not fit my 2017 Kawasaki Z650 - exactly the same white 2017 bike used in the photos - as it is installed in the listing and couldn't - it's a fake marketing photo so don't use it to describe it to try install. It took me about 5-6 tries, but there is a way (and only one) to install it to make it work on the z650. Pull the brake lever out as far as possible and put the right side back first…
