Oddly I have the smallest and the largest spoon from the same manufacturer and have had no problems with them. However, this medium-sized spoon shattered the keto chocolate no-bake cookie dough of all things, while also managing to rip the skin off my pinky pad. I had to throw it in the trash as I couldn't figure out how to assemble it (and I was afraid it would happen again). Now every time I scoop other sizes, I'm very slow and careful - not what you really expect, just scooping the batter and whipped cream. UPDATE: 8/3. The company contacted me. Below is an email from Roman R. King <roman_588@hotmail.com>. I have no idea if this is a legitimate letter, but "Roman King" seems sketchy given the letter below. I am updating my review with this one as FYI. I also don't update the review score. Offering to replace a defective item only if the reviewer removes or improves the rating is poor customer service. You do the right thing because it's right. UPDATE: 20.08. The company emailed me an apology for calling them about this review. They offered to send me a replacement spoon even if I didn't improve my review score. I appreciate that they are doing the right thing. They actually sent me two replacement blades but one is bent and the other seems fine.
