We needed a multi collar with 1 remote training option for our 2 dogs and this one looked good. The beep is easy for dogs to hear (and for us to know the tone was sent). The vibration function was important because we want to avoid using shock when the vibration is sufficient, but the shock function is also important in certain cases. Changing the beat level is not accidental. I like that it was designed to require explicit modifications. It uses the power button while you hold down another button. However, I have found that the power level changes very quickly so it can be a bit difficult to get the correct value. Each collar has its own shock level setting, which is probably a good thing, but make sure you set both. Switching from one collar to another is fairly easy and is clearly shown on the screen where you can also see the collar's power level. The lock feature is good, but the switch on the side of the remote is a bit difficult to move even if you want to. We often fiddle with it longer than we would like to turn on the remote control buttons. A while ago I noticed that collars don't vibrate because dogs don't respond to it. I tested it myself and in fact they no longer vibrate. The remote is a bit larger than it should be, making it a bit awkward to fit in a jacket pocket, but it's lightweight. The button markers are also almost worn off, so the process used to stamp them should be better. The purchase is less than 8 months away and the order history shows that the return period has expired. We need a new kit and I will look for another brand. Edit: The seller contacted me some time after I left the feedback and offered to replace or refund the item. I was unexpectedly pleased and surprised by their proactive approach to customer service. I increased my rating to 5 stars because they stood by their product. I didn't need to contact them and they never asked me to update my review.
