I used this to remove the top of the fork.

I used this to remove fork tips from a 2016 Triumph Thruxton R. It worked great but scratched the tips of the fork. Mostly it was my fault. I probably should have used a wrench after breaking them but I don't have one so I just used a ratchet and an extension. Occasionally the base would slip off because I wasn't holding it straight. This didn't do much damage to the fork tips, but did remove some of the paint. I would buy them again but also buy a speed key and buy it before using it again.
