It was too cold to take it to the sea or a river this season, so have I traced it back to a test in the sea bath, but I'm very impressed. Compatibility with Osmo Action Cam is perfect (it was specially designed for this camera, not for GoPro). The seals are good and tight and there were no leaks after a few minutes underwater. The dome is made of acrylic, not glass, but is optically very transparent. There is a handy waterline marker on the rear of the hull so you know where to place it for consistent visibility above and below the water. With this hull you can actually only take pictures above and below water; This doesn't really work with the lens directly in the water as the water movement is all over the lens, but with this dome the waterline is kept away from the lens so you can see it and the view from above and below. That. It's a cool look that makes great shots and videos. And this case is great for full underwater immersion. At first I wasn't sure I liked the grips because I wanted the front to be smoothly rounded just like the back, but I totally understand why it's designed the way it is. A solid facade requires a second piece of plastic, and then water gets in. The tailgate is a bit tricky to open as it takes some force, but that's a good thing because the seal seals your camera really tight. The Osmo Action Cam is also said to be waterproof up to 10m when bare, but I've had no luck with "waterproof" GoPro cameras underwater, so I wouldn't risk it if the Osmo gets wet. Photographing water with the Osmo Action Cam is a great device. Highly recommended.
