Review on Columbia Splash A Little Women's Rain Jacket by Sara Cassidy

I'm usually short (5ft 5in, 116lbs, in aged navy and XS) and this jacket fits both XS and S, but I needed room to fit a thick fleece sweater underneath to wear I chose the little one. It still sits flatteringly but with plenty of room for my bulky layers underneath. I wore it on a long 5 hour hike, it rained the whole time and this jacket kept all areas it covered completely dry. The bonus is that it's long enough to sit on, so I was able to sit on the wet rock and have lunch without the water getting wet through my pants. I can put my phone in one of the front pockets (big phone Note 4) and the hood stays in place really well when you need it. Recommend wearing this jacket in your normal size unless you want to wear something heavier than a fleece underneath. In this case you can choose one size larger to have extra space. Update: I've had this coat for almost a year now. full year. It's sort of rained on every hike I've done during that time, and every time it's worked just as perfectly as the first time I wore it - and it still looks brand new. I've worn it unlayered on my summer mountain hikes and its lightweight fabric was perfect for keeping me dry without getting too hot. Traveling was great as it is very light and doesn't take up much space in my backpack. I would still say this is the best raincoat I have ever had!
