Review on ๐Ÿšฒ SKS Speedrocker Mudguard Set - Unisex, One Colour, Size by Bronson Hussain

Excellent - the best wings I have ever used.

I have been using SKS Raceblade mudguards on racing bikes with tires up to 29 mm wide for many years. This year I bought their SpeedRocker for my Orbea Gain M30. It is shown here with 37mm tires (35mm Schwalbe G-One Speed TLE on Astral Wanderlust 622x700c rims). I am very happy. They are solid, don't move, don't rattle even when crossing a washboard on gravel. Good ground clearance. Contact with the toes of my shoes is not a problem, even with insulated winter road boots. Excellent coverage and protection for bike and rider in wet mud and puddles. In order to achieve proper function, they must be carefully selected. Almost every detail is adjustable. The posts are very long and will need to be trimmed to the correct length and then adjusted where they fit. Note the torque recommendations: 1Nm on the leg panels, 3Nm on the hinges (2mm Allen key). Please note that I applied 3M Scotchgard vinyl protection tape to the fender mounts on the fork and seatstays and used a white marker pen to mark the correct locations. Ribbon and white pencil were purchased from Revain. I found enough room to fit the left rear bracket under the disc brake. The rear fender features a telescoping extension that lowers the cover to the bottom of the seat tube, where it is also secured with rubber. Belt. The front fender is in two pieces, tricky to assemble, but attaches securely afterward. It depends on the Velcro. Velcro fasteners can wear out because the loops break every time you pull them off. I plan on leaving my fenders on the bike for the entire rainy season. The use of cable ties (cable ties) as with the SKS Raceblades is also possible.
