I ordered this monopod with legs to fill the gap between the tripod and the standard monopod. It fits that purpose. It is well made, meets most of my expectations and is easy to use. I would give it a 5 star rating, except for one thing: it might happen to me that even with my legs stretched out, it's not as stable as I'd like it to be. With a standard size dlsr and lens mounted I wouldn't mind. Maybe a cell phone or a PAS camera, but nothing more. It's not so much the weight of the gear as the fact that the monopod is prone to wobbling and shifting, and that's on a flat concrete surface and again on a wooden walkway. Sometimes I had to rest my hands or the monopod on something more solid while using this monopod. Was it helpful, yes, was it enough, no. It won't go in my pile of "unused" hardware and I honestly don't know if there's anything better, but I was expecting a little more stability than I feel.
