Review on 🌬️ OxySorb Oxygen Absorber Packets - 500cc, 50 Pack: Ultimate Freshness Protection for Long Term Food Storage by Megan Rogers

I bought 10 packs of 2000ml Oxy-Sorb oxygen absorber and 50 packs of 500ml Oxy-Sorb oxygen absorber and used 1 of each, totaling 2500 cu. cm in (10) 20" x 30" Mylar bags in 5 or 6 gallon pails. 24 hours later, only four out of ten had taken in enough oxygen to be stowed for long-term storage, and of the four that actually worked, it was questionable whether they had taken in all the oxygen in the bag (most, but not all) . I didn't find this brand very reliable and wouldn't buy it again. Now I have to open all the bags, repack some as there isn't enough room to reseal, and then use a different brand of oxygen scavenger. 2500cc is the recommended cc for a 20x30 bag so I don't need to increase the cc any further but with this brand I would recommend doubling the cc. And I would recommend that you make sure they start to warm up before sealing the bag to make sure they are usable.
