I put one of these in every 1 gallon Mylar bag when I sealed my flour and potato flakes. I sealed the bags with an iron and after a few hours the bags looked like they were vacuum sealed. Since there are 25 pieces in a bag, you should be ready to use quickly. I used my iron to reseal the wrapper they came in as I hadn't used all 25 and then put that resealed wrapper in a glass jar.

Received my order of 50 500cc today but most of the shock absorbers didn't work at all as if they had been exposed to air before or were just old. The seller should inspect their item to ensure they are only shipping a good batch. Out of all 50 pieces I was able to use less than half it's so disappointing and what a rip off! Now I understand why others only gave 2 stars. Will not buy this item again nor will I order from the same seller.

I was very satisfied with this product. There were only a few that didn't work, but out of 50 it wasn't a problem. I think most people don't realize how quickly they absorb oxygen and it's important to get them into a tight-lid glass jar as soon as possible after opening the package for best results. Then use them from the jar for more than a few seconds without removing the lid. Almost all of my jars are sealed, I think I only had five that were unsealed. So I would buy this brand again.

Great to have. I didn't even know a person could buy them. We live in a COLD country, our roads are blocked and we are covered in snow, so I always make sure there is a good supply of groceries.
