Logitech in their infinite wisdom removed the unifying key from this product. Instead, you get a button that only works with that keyboard and mouse. Worse, they replaced the Set Point software with something new called "Options". This download is 3 times larger than the old Set Point program and is the first thing that asks you to create an account and share your story! No thank you! Of course, the Options software only controls the mouse, so if you want to customize the keyboard, you'll still need to install the Set Point package! I uninstalled the settings pack as this mouse is a very basic mouse and can be controlled via Microsoft's general settings. The only feature you lose is the battery monitor. While I've always been a fan of Logitech products, moving away from the unified button and this keyboard in particular is changing my mind. The keyboard feels pretty solid, but lacks keystrokes consistently. As this is the main function of the keyboard, I cannot recommend it. Also, the mouse that comes with it seems to be very cheap (probably because it's cheap). The combination of these two problems makes this package unprofitable. I am very disappointed that Logitech is dropping the merging key and software. That change alone is enough to make me look elsewhere for a keyboard and mouse replacement. Generally not recommended!
