I bought this dehumidifier to replace one that had died in my basement causing significant moisture build up there and affecting the floor on the next level. This dryer was easy to unpack and get up and running. What I missed from the product description is that the unit came with a continuous drain hose (about five feet long). Due to the construction of the device, it seems to be best suited for continuous bucket operation. The hose easily connects to the condensate coils drain pipe, which is actually a drain channel to the collection bucket. By installing the pipe, the bucket is completely bypassed. That's good because I wasn't looking at the bucket which I was told how small it is. For a unit rated at 70 pints per day, a 4.1 liter tank of just over a gallon will fill up more than 7 times a day at rated capacity. If you don't share space with this device, you will find it very difficult to keep emptying the bucket. The wheels seem to be very well made, no problem moving the device in place. With the constant drain setting, it worked like a champ and drastically reduced the amount of moisture in the basement I needed to dry. I have since bought a second unit because I was very satisfied with the performance of this model.
