I love having a bedside clock to look at at night and I always need to charge my phone at night so the clock and charger combo was the solution for that helped me clean up the mess on the bedside table. I used to have a cheaper design from another company where the wireless charging was incredibly inconsistent and the watch backlight was very bright and I hated it. This worked perfectly. It's obvious where the phone needs to go to charge properly, and the charging light isn't bright or distracting. Also, the light on the clock itself isn't annoyingly bright either. I use my phone as an alarm clock and have never used a speaker so I can't comment on those parts, but if you need a clock you can see they wireless your phone charges, it was worth the extra money.
