This stand is a great alternative to some of the more expensive lights on the market. The base of the stand is sturdy and can be adjusted very tall for overhead angles. The light is bright and can be adjusted very easily, the flexible lighted arms give you tons of options for lighting without casting shadows. The attachment for the phone can be a bit unsteady so it’s all about balance especially if you have a heavy phone. One of my favorite features is that the light holds the brightness you set it at even if you turn it off during your session, so say you have a break in between filming and turn the light off, once you turn the unit back on your light will be at the same brightness level as when you shut it off, which is great for consistency. This unit also has a USB port to charge your phone while you are using it to film. The device needs to be plugged into the wall for power. Overall it’s a solid purchase.
