Normally works but often starts spouting water endlessly. I went outside and found puddles of water everywhere because this thing was shooting water for hours. I connected it externally on one side of the Y connector for use with irrigation. If the pressure in my house's system changes too much, this thing shoots water. It could be from the other side of the Y, or even from the washing machine on the second floor. This thing starts shooting water and won't stop until I turn the water pressure off and back on. Bad design in my opinion. I would look for something else next time. I'm tempted to just take it off based on the amount of water I've already wasted.
