I bought this pack of ten because I was a little tired of the dim lights on my old John Deere mowers. I regularly prune at a rural roadside and love to be lit there, and sometimes I prune at our central Texas apiary in the evenings. I installed these lights on all three mowers (each used for a different purpose). I was amazed by the light emitted from these things, it was really helpful! I understood that this type of light bulb has a long service life. Boy was I wrong! Recently the mower I use on the curb had no light at all. I pulled out the lightbulbs and found that they had simply crumbled. The cap on top of the bulb was floating inside the headlight assembly so I shook it out and found that the solder holding this cap to the rest of the bulb had melted and the rest of the assembly had dissolved. If you think you're going to use those pathetic things to light up a trailer or the like, be prepared to be pulled over to work with no trailer lights. They're not worth the wasted energy wasted shipping, let alone the money spent buying them. Be sure to avoid these lamps. They will only annoy you.
