This salad bowl has a low gear ratio, so it has plenty of torque to easily wash the salad in it. It has a nice clear bowl with a non-slip ring so I can even use it to serve salad on the table. The lid fits snugly and there is a little slippage between the spinner and strainer so the salad can also be dried. The handle is raised to protect your fingers from injury and the spinner handle is a good size.
