Great cameras, terrible app renders alerts useless
These great cameras, amazing resolution via Direct DVR. Not so good via cell phone or remote. The plastic body makes the camera light but sacrifices durability. We'll see over time. The only downside that has me honestly arguing about sending it back, which I probably can't, is the fact that the app is terrible. It contains bugs, errors and almost no updates or support. In this case, the app sends motion notifications to your mobile device, but for now it only shows the icon at the top of the screen. Your notification sound, vibration, etc. will not be used. It only shows the notification icon on your Android, Apple, etc.
