Update. After a few washes the sheets are quite soft. They still wrinkle a lot, so take them out of the dryer right away. Although I iron the pillowcases. Bought these for our guest room. I washed it with a dye catcher to keep it from bleeding. They are pretty stiff even if you use enough fabric softener. There were also a lot of wrinkles when they were taken straight out of the dryer. While they're cute, don't expect them to be too comfortable so there's no problem if guests stay too long. It should be noted that they are made in China. I don't like giving negative feedback, but I won't buy it again.
