It's either an expired kit or a fake. (The box was from 2014, while Target sells the same set with a 2017-2019 copyright label.) The pomegranate lipstick smelled less fruity than usual, and when I applied it, my lips immediately burned. (And the sting lasted for 2 hours even though I washed it off multiple times!) I've never had a problem with this lip balm and use it daily. Other reviewers have mentioned the same issue over the past few months, so I'd suggest buying elsewhere until the quality issues are resolved.
