Although the website for the address on the fob card did not have instructions on how to program the fob properly, it only said 'Contact a locksmith' which I was able to find the correct instructions with a little research on the internet. The process is a bit cumbersome and odd, but I was able to program the new fob and my existing one on a 2006 Montero/Pajero. The process requires you to put a jumper in the socket under the dash, press the hazard switch 6 times (or toggle it on and off 3 times depending on how you want it to look) and then simply press the buttons on the key fob. , all in quick succession.
