Review on πŸ’» Lisle 24550 Circuit Tester for Computer Safety by Eric Smithlin

Good tool good price

My favorite is this polarity indicator. . The only complaint I have is that the line isn't very long, but I just found a good and flexible wire and made a 5-6 inch line in place of the existing one which isn't that long. I made the one that grips the battery terminals better. I was thinking of making a modular cable using several 4mm jack banana adapters and soldering them on so I could use my Fluke modular accessories (reversing probes, different sized alligator clips, etc.). Maybe when I get bored. The point is, you can do whatever you want with this tool and still have a cheap, handy, polarity-proof computer test light at a great price. If you need 10 feet of wire it will probably fit. It's nice to be able to customize the test lamps to my specific needs. I don't find it necessary to buy an expensive test lamp if I can make one. When I wanted a Load Pro dynamic test lead set I simply made one using an old test lamp, two 50 ohm (25 ohm) resistors in parallel and a small snap action NC switch. I think mine was more durable than the original.
