Excellent product. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to see the reading. It has to be turned a little to the side to see it, as the backlight drowns out the display a bit. Works great, have been using it for about 2 years now. It reads to the decimal point, and the clip is fairly strong and holds up well. So this is a great product. Works well, easy to read, does the same as the MAC I use at work. My ONLY issue is that the product I received is NOT a reel. It's straight wire, which isn't necessarily a problem, but I bought it partially with the coil in mind. The straight line is incredibly long and I have to be very careful where it is so I don't trip over it and drop it or get caught in moving parts. The coil compresses at the same length and supports itself most of the time. So I can forget…

I've tried several of these circuit testers and they tend to be short lived even with moderate use. It's crazy when these things fail when you're troubleshooting a car under less than ideal conditions. This tester is the best I have ever used. The probe is sharp, the cable and clip are strong, and the handle is sturdy. My first project with this tester was installing a new 7 pin RV plug on my pickup along with a 4 pin flat trailer plug. My favorite is this polarity indicator. . The only complaint I have is that the line isn't very long, but I just found a good and flexible wire and made a 5-6 inch line in place of the existing one which isn't that long. I made the one that grips the battery terminals better. I was thinking of making a modular cable using several 4mm jack banana adapters and soldering them on so I could use my Fluke modular accessories (reversing probes, different sized alligator clips, etc.).
