Scissors go first. They are sharp enough to cut through at least two layers of drape. Pink scissors are always heavy, so as expected they are heavy. As can be seen in the picture, the handles are covered with shock-absorbing material. My only complaint is that they are NOT left handed SPECIFICALLY. These are universal scissors for left or right hand use. I'm not disappointed in terms of cost, but I really wanted a left-handed pair. I would buy another pair if needed and would use this seller again if needed. 4 stars only because they are generic to each hand and I wish they were labeled as such. A left-handed molded pair would have been more comfortable and perhaps easier to use.
