We were amazed that the fan worked as soon as we took it out of the box. It has three speeds, the highest is the best. We can't wait to use it while driving my husband's '66 Mustang Convertible (non air con) as it will move the air in the car. It will be great to take to the beach with us and hang on our umbrella and my husband will carry it while mowing the grass. He also likes to wear it when he walks our dogs. The battery lasts a long time, a maximum of 4 hours, and charging is as easy as finding a charging station, your laptop, or connecting to a plug-in adapter or car adapter. The fans are easy to adjust and do not irritate the neck. I know I didn't mention any other uses, but Mustang would be the most useful. The fans aren't loud and I tried calling with the fans on, but I could still hear the caller - of course I didn't bring the fans too close to my face, I put them on my chest. I'm cool. Clever invention and so many ways to use it. I know I will keep finding new ways to use it. This would be a great gift for any woman going through menopause. I wish I had it when I had hot flashes. Can't recommend enough.
