I bought these to replace an old model that fits my feet well. However, they made some changes and I can't use them for regular trail running. It seems that the protector has become harder and for some reason the left leg is starting to go numb. I've only taken them for trail running, although towards the end of the hike my foot still didn't like them, not the protective harshness that keeps you from feeling the rocks you step on. Shoes always depend on the foot they are worn on and some people may find these shoes suitable. The quality seems good, I just naively bought it and hoped not much has changed between versions. On my next purchase, I did chat support with a Nike representative and got something similar to what I had before.
