I bought these so I wouldn't lose my GoPro camera and phone while kayaking. During the rollover, my phone fell into the water and I didn't notice it for a while. My phone is stored in Mpow Waterproof Universal Water Case IPX8 Waterproof Phone Case Dry Bag for iPhone7/7plus/6s/6/6s plus Samsung Galaxy s8/s7 LG V20 Google Pixel HTC10 (Clear 2 Pack) and tied to my boat. In the attached picture you can see my phone floating on the water from the right side of my boat (left side in the photo). He was in the water until I had to turn off my GoPro to finish the video I was shooting. I would definitely lose my phone without this floating waterproof case! It's also a good idea to add some sort of clasp to yourself and your devices in case you drop them like I did.
