These headphones will not fit in your ears so they just sit on top of the 'ear hole' as there is no better gives word. I'm used to earbuds or headphones with soft cases that completely cover the entire part of the ear, not just the hole. They are also not regulated in any way. This is important because I use this headset to transcribe and listen to my audio files for several hours a day, which gives me severe earaches and headaches. The sound quality is good, which was sad because I just couldn't let them irritate my ears any further. However, they weren't great. So don't expect amazing clarity, I've had skull headphones that were just as good. Sometimes I would notice them randomly getting louder or quieter and my audio files never. The person might get louder, but not the sound itself. Like there's a short in the wire. It's hard to describe, but I can say that I will not buy this set again. I tried this because I wanted the best overhead headset and it was recommended to me. I think I'm better off with in-ears and headphones that completely cover my ear.
