I bought these for my 2008 Silverado and the tailgate frame fits perfectly and looks great. It actually looks like an OEM product. I inserted the wires into the split bundle and routed it along the frame to the cabin. Installation is not for the faint of heart! It took patience and ingenuity to route the video cable into the cockpit and connect it to my new receiver. I powered the right reversing light. After installation, I was a bit "not satisfied" with the picture quality. Others commented on the great clear picture, but unless I have a bad camera it was just "not ah". I can see objects behind the truck but the quality wasn't very good. There were wires on the wiring harness that said the white wire should be cut to remove the parking lines. Since my receiver had adjustable leads, I wanted to remove the leads from the camera. However, when I cut the wire, nothing happened. The lines remain. This was another disappointment. If you look at the image, you'll see that I just adjusted the receiver lines to overlap with the camera-generated lines. This was an acceptable workaround, but not optimal as I can no longer adjust the lines to my spacing settings. For the price, this was a great addition to my truck, but I was a bit disappointed with the video quality and the inability to remove camera-generated parking lines.
