I bought this mid drive kit from Deruiz. I also bought the same kit from another seller on Aliexpress. The Deruiz kit arrived within a week. The one from Aliexpress also arrived about a week after it was shipped from the US warehouse. On closer inspection, the Aliexpress kit costs about $50 less than the Deruiz kit. Everything was identical except for the "free" headlight that came with both kits. The light from the Deruiz kit was flat and the LED in it wasn't too bright. The one from Aliexpress was round with a lens that magnified the LED and was very bright. I installed both motor kits on my bikes and reprogrammed the controllers to work the same way. What was interesting to me was that they had 2 different branded controllers as well as different firmware versions. To my surprise, the Deruiz version performed better when I ran unofficial tests, even though both kits should be identical. The difference was significant but I don't know why. The Deruiz version had more torque and consumed more power. In the near future I plan to order another set and this set will be from Deruiz again.
