Worked great on our 2009 non-JBL RAV4 aftermarket AVH-W4400NEX main unit. This is a wiring harness only, so you don't need to splice anything with the factory wiring harness. You still need to connect the aftermarket head unit wiring harness to this, so keep that in mind. Whether you solder it, butt splice it, or twist/glue/glue it, you still need to connect it to the aftermarket wire harness. It is then connected to the factory wiring harness. PLEASE NOTE: This wiring harness is ONLY for the basic functions of the car radio, namely 4 speakers, ignition, 12V accessories, grounding and remote control. If you also need functions such as steering wheel control, bluetooth, etc.,
