Perfect fit for 2004 Toyota Corolla

I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla CE with a stock 4 post system. This pendant was perfect and high quality. There are a lot of hard copper wires in the wiring, which indicates the quality. I only wish the Pioneer head unit I connected it to had that many wires in the included connector (it was only 4 wires of 20 gauge wiring). All cables are listed on the back of the box so you don't make a mistake. Perfect. In the future I will always use Metra for my car audio systems.

Wire color catalog needs updating

Does the job. However, the cable color guide on the box needs an update. The manual mentions two separate wires for ANTENNA POWER ("BLUE") and AMPLIFIER ON ("BLUE/WHITE"). But with this wiring harness, the contacts for POWER ANTENNA and AMP TURN ON are connected by a short blue jumper; and so there is only one blue wire coming from one of the pins to serve both functions as it should; Therefore there is no separate BLUE/WHITE wire in their manual. They just haven't updated the wire color guide…

Mini heart attack but worked great

If, like me, you have a premium sound system in your '98 Camry (with XL trim), you'll see at first glance that this suspension doesn't work. This is because the factory connectors that this harness works with connect to the factory audio amplifier. You need to unplug the booster (two more plastic clips) then this harness will work like a charm. I've used it to connect an Android head unit and will be connecting to speakers soon. This is to find the connections that this harness connects to…

Almost protection from idiots!

I don't like electricity at all but this wiring harness made the wiring process ridiculously easy! Each wire in the harness is identified with its name on a label (left front +, dimmer, right rear -) and stamped on each wire where the labels fall off. Admittedly, you may need a magnifying glass to read the 0.0005 inch imprint. Multiple strips on the ends of the wires, butt terminals on both ends, and a crimp to secure the wires on either side of the connector. Oh, the wires are colored too. to…

The only way to install a non-original radio. . .

Bought for my son's 2007 Corolla, he wanted to install a Bluetooth/Carplay compatible HU and I didn't want to identify/splice all those wires. I specifically ordered this because the car has a 4 speaker system; When I first opened it up, there were only 2 channels of wire in the speaker port. I was a bit scared at first but found 2 other channels on the main jack. Please note that adapters are shipped with no instructions other than the color code legend printed on the packaging; but they…

Well built, works

Used on a 2002 4Runner, the design is fit for purpose and gets the job done. The wiring harness uses copper wire - maybe 18 gauge - so soldering is easy. The color code on the back of the box is pretty straightforward and basically matches my Kenwood radio's wiring. The only complaint is that the suspension plastic isn't as taut as the suspension I was familiar with 20 years ago. But really, how strong does this plastic have to be? If you are having trouble fitting your Toyota and Metra wiring…

Worked great on our 2009 non-JBL RAV4 system

Worked great on our 2009 non-JBL RAV4 aftermarket AVH-W4400NEX main unit. This is a wiring harness only, so you don't need to splice anything with the factory wiring harness. You still need to connect the aftermarket head unit wiring harness to this, so keep that in mind. Whether you solder it, butt splice it, or twist/glue/glue it, you still need to connect it to the aftermarket wire harness. It is then connected to the factory wiring harness. PLEASE NOTE: This wiring harness is ONLY for the…

Perfection is the adapter you MUST use with 1996-1997 Lexus LX450

. This adapter allows you to completely bypass the factory amp in your LX450. You MUST do this when installing a new stereo system. If you use the Metra 70-8112 receiver harness instead, you can reuse the factory OEM amp, yes, but it creates horrible feedback/howling noise from the alternator when the engine is running. I tried it for a week but it gave me a terrible headache from daily driving. Metra 70-1761 Radio Wiring Harness for Toyota 87-Up Power 4 speakers is the only way to choose…
