I was very happy to find them as we have some guinea pigs. It is very important to keep her cage clean and odor free so I had high hopes for these pads. Unfortunately, they didn't work out the way I had hoped. Right now we're using them under a different type of bedding that we used to use to make cleaning a little easier, but using these pads alone just doesn't help. The top layer was too easy for the guinea pigs to tear. Claws, and although they have sticky pads to keep them in place, they only stay that way for the first hour or so. My guinea pigs, like most guinea pigs, I believe are very active in their cages. These pads didn't last at all. As I said we use them under the sheets we used before I bought these pads but I won't be buying them again.
